JOB DESCRIPTION
The Copy Editor/Designer will be responsible for designing pages and editing copy. This position reports to News Editor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and edit pages, archive stories, photos and pages, troubleshoot problems on deadline, react to change productively and handle new tasks as assigned, work well in a team environment; collaborate and interact professionally with coworkers maintain high productivity in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, come to work promptly and regularly

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATONS
Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, strong editing, proofreading and creative design skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to produce accurate work product, college education preferred or equivalent experience in editing and design
